Too soon old, too late smart
OK, admit to my curiosity. Various things indicated that this is a 'surprise' visit. Being who I am, does anyone have any solid info as to how come? Certainly like the 'just because' answer, but keep wondering if he's just 'making sure'. PS, know it will come out well, but wonder how Pantoni and staff react to having a 'unplanned for' guest arrive...

Latest update on DJ Jacobs sounds good for the Ohio State Buckeyes
Coming away from the official visit, Jacobs’ chances of staying in Ohio State’s class sound great. His father recently spoke with Rivals, and one quote stood out.“He ready to be a Buckeye,” Jacobs’ father said via Rivals. “You dealing with these kids, there are so much emotion, you can’t say lock about nobody, so much can happen, but he’s happy about his decision.
“He liked the coaches, he loves the players. He liked the city. He definitely still loves Ohio State.”
It sounds a lot like Jacobs’ recent visit to Columbus reaffirmed how he feels about the city and the Ohio State football program. Buckeyes defensive line coach Larry Johnson is putting together a strong DL class with Jacobs and four-star EDGE Wyatt Smith as the two pass rushers. Ohio State is in a great spot to eventually land five-star DL Marcus Fakatou out of California as well.

And from what I read on another site, DJ is doing some recruiting for the Buckeyes. Talking to other recruits, trying to get them to come to Columbus-town. Cannot hurt. Also, this visit has helped me back away from the roof's edge, as seems to indicate that he's 'solid' to tOSU. Never say never, but a good indication. Here's hopin'.....

Definitely a good sign. If he can get Fakatou to join him, that's two absolute monsters on the DL for LJ Sr (with more to come).
