GA DB KJ Bolden (Georgia Signee)

THE HURRY-UP: FIVE-STAR 2024 SAFETY KJ BOLDEN, 2025 PROSPECTS RYAN MONTGOMERY AND EMAREE WINSTON ALL CONFIRM THEY WILL VISIT FOR MICHIGAN GAME

A priority five-star Ohio State target in the 2024 class has confirmed he’ll be in attendance he’ll be at Ohio State’s highly-anticipated matchup with Michigan on Nov. 26.

Georgia safety KJ Bolden confirmed to Eleven Warriors he plans on visiting Columbus for the Buckeyes’ rivalry game.

“Yes, I’ll be there,” Bolden said Wednesday.

Bolden has visited OSU once already this year, attending the season opener against Notre Dame. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound prospect had a memorable experience on his trip.

“The visit to Columbus was nothing but electric from the time I arrived in Columbus until I left the next day. It was nothing but amazing,” Bolden told Eleven Warriors in September. “I love the brotherhood and just how they play together. The Silver Bullets are going to be a problem for any offense this season. They played great last night. The highlight of my trip was being able to witness 108,000 fans cheering on the Buckeyes in the prime time game for Labor Day Weekend to kick off the football season.”

Bolden “looks to return” to Columbus
The teammate that we discussed as a potential visitor later this month when talking about Houston is none other than 2024 five-star safety KJ Bolden of Buford (GA). According to Bucknuts, Bolden “looks to return” for the Michigan game towards the conclusion of the month.

While it sounds like the visit may not be set it stone yet, it would be a major recruiting win for the Buckeyes if they were able to get the 6-foot-1, 185-pounder back on campus. Bolden has previous made trips to Columbus for both a visit in April and a gameday visit in September. A third trip could speak to the interest the elite defensive back has in the Buckeyes.

To put into perspective how big of a visit it would be for Ohio State, they would be welcoming the No. 2 player in the class, only behind Buckeye QB pledge Dylan Raiola, to Columbus for a major recruiting weekend against what is shaping up to be a contest between two Top 5 programs. Bolden also is penciled in as both the top graded safety and the very best prospect that the state of Georgia has to offer next year.

Seems like the coaches better find their favorite restaurant in Buford, that team is unreal stacked right now. They always have a good team but we've got a ton of targets there right now. Would be really sweet to steal Bolden from GA, though it of course is going to be a battle with the other SEC schools. If I am a safety, I am taking an extra look at OSU with Knowles as DC...he really spotlights safeties and seems to elevate their play, all of Proctor, Ransom, McCallister and Hickman are playing great ball this year.

Birm said he knows for a fact that Georgia tried everything they could to get KJ to cancel this visit and KJ refused. Georgia went all out and had 3 separate sit down conversations with him last weekend.

I would love to think that Powers to Sparty is connected to confidence on Bolden, one can dream right? Could be a Vonn Bell 2.0 if we manage to pull this one off. Plucked one 5* out of GA before, lets get another one.

Georgia has three top 100 safeties committed already. I know you take as many good players as you can, and the top guys all think they're better than the other guy, and NIL and everything else...I just have a hard time seeing them end up with four top 100 safeties. That alone makes me cautiously optimistic about Bolden and/or Woodyard.

I like the way you connect the dots, Pnut. All the CBs I've seen have him a slam dunk to UGA. Sounds like maybe there's a little tOSU smoke there. Anyway, here's hoping your reading of the tea leaves is spot on. Not as sanguine as you are about Bolden, but see the good guys getting one of the pair of Woodyard or Bolden. Candidly, don't really care which, doubt any of us would want to live on the difference between the two. Go Bucks! PS, UGA's got a juggernaut going this year, very Bamaesque, so would love to pull a 5* from UGA, who has done it to us several times....
