KJ Bolden said he hasn’t made a final decision yet but he has one school on his mind that’s basically separated from the rest. He said every time he’s “down there” they make it feel like home. Georgia fans are assuming it’s them based on the “down there” comment when that’s just the way kids talk.
"The way the coach is when I'm down there, he just makes me feel like I'm at home," Bolden said. "I bond with the players, whether it's in the facility or out of the facility, I bond with the players. I've been building a close bond with them. The position coach, he's doing a great job. He's doing a real good job. The program is real good at life after football."

Outside of a literal interpretation of what he means by “down there,” that sounds a lot like Ohio State’s biggest strengths, including a position coach he is related to. I continue to be cautiously optimistic about the Buckeyes’ chances.

For me it was the life after football comment, that's emphasized heavily in our program. Cautious optimism for me as well.

Edit: Also it dawned on me that when he talks about his position coach, Eliano is his cousin and that should be a big advantage.

Particularly when you’ve been burned more than a few times in the age of NIL? And when the player has outright said he doesn’t want anyone to know what he is doing and is throwing out junk on purpose leading up to the announcement?

The latest rumor is that Florida State went absolutely nuts on NIL and are offering more than 2 million.

Honestly, if KJ goes to Free Shoes, I'd consider that a win. Means we won't have to face him at Georgia or Alabama for all the marbles at some point in the future
