Lol that article is halarious. Anyone else have any feedback on this bad boy? I'm still a little apprehensive about buying one. And is the battery powered one really that much better than a regular old one that doesn't vibrate? Let us know.

I picked the battery one up over the weekend. It was on sale and had a rebate so I figured why not. I do not think the shave is any closer than the Mach 3 Turbo, but it definitely glides across my face much easier with the vibration. I figured it was a bunch of marketing crap, but I turned off the battery and it felt like my Mach 3. Turned it back on and it just slid across the face. I've only used it three times now and figure two weeks should give me an overall idea. At this point I do like it.

Edit: I just like to feel all tingly in the shower (That is where I shave).

I have tried many, many different razor blades (I have very thick and deep rooted facial hair) and I have found the following :

1. Mach 3 blows - it's no better than the lesser blades.
2. 4 razor blades are just as worthless.
3. There is NO electric razor that is capable of giving me a good shave.
4. Cartridge razor blades are a complete waste of money.
5. The best razor I have ever used and still use, (seriously) are my wife's gillete double blades. yes, they are pink, they don't swivel much, and they are inexpensive (comparitively). However, I have used these even with just plain handsoap and water and it cuts closely with no cuts or scratches. Additionally, they hold up for several uses; I'd estimate I can use a single disposable blade about 10 times before it's too dull to use.

The fusion is the most retarded marketing ploy I have ever seen. I don't need to try this to know it's not worth the money or is able to cut even closer than the bitch blades I already use.

Well, I'll take that back, people are actually buying this rediculously expensive thing.

Why do people even bother to shave? I knock it back with my beard trimmer once a day and Its all good. Granted, though I can grow a nice thick beard, it is reddish blonde, and that makes a difference, I just cant imagine a situation where being shorn to the skin is going to make all of the difference in the world. I do not own a razor, haven't since I was a teen, and I am in my 30's. Have had respectable jobs, sometimes dealing with the public, had interviews, dates, and a couple of weddings, and nobody has ever questioned me about my shave. More blades=more $$ if you want my opinion. Even with 2 blades those things were like 5$-7$ a pack if I remember right. The only 2 concieveable reasons that I can think of for using them are 1) More sex and 2) Beard Cancer.

have you used the mach3 power (vibration) one? (I'd be curious how it compared) I think the vibration makes a big difference, tho I mocked it a lot (during commercials) before I tried it.

Never used it and I figured the vibration thing was a load of crap too before I tried the Fusion. It is giving me a better shave than my previous setup, but other people get a great shave with the cheapest disposable razor they can find. Shaving is just like anything else: different things work for different people.
