Calling all friends & people I met on the way down
Already been to Foxwoods. Went there last summer. If you look, Mohegan is on my list.
I'm too lazy to look, 'sides, didn't you read in that other thread that I have had HORRIBLE day, LOL... but yes, Mohegan is far better than Foxwoods...

Thump, if you like Sweet BBQ, and I'm sure you do, eat at Big Bubba's BBQ. A little pricey but good stuff.

I lived in CT for 25 years. Oxford CT. where I lived has a farm that makes some of the best ice cream on the planet. It's called Rich's Farm. Great for the kids too. The farm always has barn kittens and calf's to look at. It's on RT 67 in Oxford. Just 2 miles from my old house.
Mohegan Sun is the better casino.
CT is famous for food. Ever have a deep fried hot dog with bacon? MMmmmm! Ct coastline above New Haven is very nice. Of coarse New Haven has wonderful Italian food! Wooster Street pizza at Sallie's or Pepe's is some of the best in the country. Cooked in coal fired ovens. Order by the pan. To die for. They also have my favorite white pizza, clams and bacon with extra garlic! I'm dyin' here!
Mystic Seaport and Aquarium is fun for all. It's on the northern coast of CT. Just off I-95.
You can see submarines being built at Electric Boat off I-95.

Wife and I are headed to Maine tomorrow morning, flight leaves at 5:30 AM! 
Anyhow, looks like the weather has been terrible with flooding so hopefully we'll have a few dry days but oh well, if not, we'll make the best of it.
Just wanted to thank everyone for the suggestions, I printed them off and will be taking them with me.
