Had a great time in NE.
Boston was an awesome town, too bad we only had an afternoon to spend there but at least the weather was nice. It was the day Big Papi hit the game winning homer against the Rangers in the first game of the twin bill. The place went ape shit. Think we ate at the Purple Shamrock or something like that, down by Faneuil Hall.
Red Sox fans are more die hard than Buckeye fans.
Providence sucked.
Mohegan was cool, pretty much doubled up on Blackjack but was only there for a couple of hours.
Connecticut is as expensive as hell, that's one thing I learned.
Newport Rhode Island was really cool and the home there are unbelievable.
Bar Harbor, Maine was awesome as was Acadia National Park. Hiked up Gorham Mountain and drove to the top of Cadillac Mountain.
Portland, Maine was also cool, went downtown the last night, Fri. Night, and that place was awesome.
Great trip and appreciate the recommendations from everyone.
BTW, the Boston accent has to be the most unattractive accent I've ever heard come out of a woman's mouth.
