I want to sincerely apologize for my comments from two years ago which became public today. I take full responsibility for these comments. They were spoken in a private room following the Ohio State game. I was venting following a series of emotional events which led to this moment. That being said, these comments are in no way indicative of my true feelings. I love it here in Nebraska and feel fortunate to be associated with such a great University and fan base. I again apologize to anyone whom I have offended.
Former Husker Tommie Frazier, who was honored at Saturday's game and will be inducted into the College Football Hall, took his remarks on the football program to Twitter.
“It's time to get rid of the defensive play caller, the Dc, lb dl and db coaches … How in the hell do you not make adjustments or put your players in the position to compete? If this is what is going to happen for the remainder of the season, count me out. I don't care if we lose a game but the way we are losing is just not what #Nebraska fans deserve…Time for change!” Frazier wrote.
Pelini said he didn’t read Frazier’s comments but heard about them from staff, players and administrators.
“We don't need him,” Pelini said.
"Fans can complain and say what they want. We are hurting more than they are. They didn't play in the game, so we are definitely hurting more than they are. They can say anything they want. They don't necessarily know what goes on between the walls here at Nebraska. It doesn't really matter."

After reading the transcript, and putting things in some context, if you take out the profanity, what Bo said wasn't that bad at all. The night Bo made the remarks, was the marquee match up of NU playing its very first B1G game, against the B1G's reining powerhouse. It was brought to his attention that, many of the fans had, booed the Cornhuskers during the first half, and walked out on the team at the half. To which Bo responded; fuck them! He could have been a lot more professional and said, it bothered him, and he was very disappointed.......There's a lot of things I can tolerate, but this? I can't tolerate this. Now, mind you, he said all of this crap AFTER the 2011 comeback win against you guys.
AFTER. A. WIN.
Wow. [Mark May] you fans?!?
Mofo has gots to go now.
And then, this?
How do you think that has been received here? This is the head coach, mind you. It'd be different if he had actually WON something since he's been here. Saban, Miles, guys like that get away with it because they've actually WON something.
Besides...the guy has a new boss. He'd better be winnin and kissing azz the rest of this year.

It is sad to hear all of this and after reading so many posts in this thread it takes me back to my days of coaching basketball back in the Y-Town area. I coached against Pelini, the Stoops brothers, and Bernie Kosar.Let me put it this way....
1. Would he have a job had Brax not gone down in that game?
2. He gets a pass from me (a fan) about everything he said except for one thing - that's the "Wait till I'm gone, then we'll see what they do," statement. That pisses me off more than the Eff the fans stuff.
