Front loading or top loading washing machine?

Yes, due to a faulty washing machine, I had to take time away from the campaign trail.

I went shopping for a top loader, but upon further review, actually upon listening to 4 different sales people at 4 different places, I chose a front loading machine. It is supposed to be alot easier on the clothes and it saves water. It only uses 18-20 gallons vs. up to 50 gallons in a traditional top loader.

Don't forget to vote on March 4, you do have a choice.
 
I hate to admit that I know this but my wife complains about it all of the time.... The reason to go with a traditional top loader is because the seals need to be cleaned constantly to insure there is no leaking with the front loaders. That seems to be the consensus among her friends as well.

The real reason your wife and her friends prefer the top loader is the more intense vibration during spin cycle!

We've had out front loader for ~4 yrs. and have never had any leaking, nor have we cleaned the seal.

Even if we had to clean the seal often, living in an arid state where water is a valuable commodity, it's well worth having a more efficient machine.

So Donny, which side of the yard did you decide to put it on? Hopefully the one closest to the hose, you don't want that stretched across the driveway all the time, you'd go broke buying duct tape fixin the leaks.
