The satanic soulless freight train that is Ohio St
    • Woody Hayes took over as Ohio State head coach prior to the 1951 season. Since then, we've played Michigan 54 times. Some interesting quick stats:

    • The series record is 26-26-2

    • Three of the four OSU head coaches have winning records against Michigan

    • We have six national titles to one for Michigan

    • We have four Heisman Trophy winners to two for Michigan (plus we also had Janowicz win it the year before Hayes started)

    So, when some arrogant Michigan fan throws the 57-38-6 shit in your face, bring up these facts.
     
    We have the highest winning % of any college football team since 1926

    We have 2 more "recognized" NC's than they do. Thats the most important stat of all. I would trade all 29 B10 championships for 1 NC.

    I don't see Michigan winning a NC anytime soon. They don't have the defense or special teams. Next year their defense will be weaker because they lose Jackson and Curry. Their defense cannot stop mobile QB's. Drew Tate, Drew Stanton, Troy Smith, and Kirsh are gonna cause them fits next year.

    They haven't recruited DB's very well in the last three years. The game Saturday proved that their DB's are lost out there. Their safeties are slllllllooooooooowwww and out of position. Losing Justin King really hurt these guys bad.

    This year the only Defensive positions they are recruiting well is DT's every other defensive position they are not recruiting worth a damn.

    Highly touted defensive recruits from two years ago are not panning out. Burgess and Crable are not doing shit for them. I'm glad we didn't get their sorry asses.

    The last big fishes for Michigan as far as DB's are concerned are Smalls and Victor Harris. IMO Smalls picks the Buckeyes and Harris is going to VT. They better pray that the talent they have developes fast.

    Its really too bad the athletic department kept Cooper as long as they did. The guy sucked in the "game" and the Bowl games. Tressel has an oppertunity to win as many Bowls and Michigan game in 4 years than he did in 14.

    The Cooper years really give Michigan fans a false sense of superiority. The sad thing is they let Cooper hang around for so long.

    With the exception bowl games and the third Saturday in November, Cooper won a lot of games, recruited tremendous football players, and turned OSU into an NFL farm club. It was too much to ask of him to truly understand the rivalry with scUM. Yeah our grad rates sucked, and the best players always bailed after three years....but not so much anymore. Our grad rate is way up, and people like Doss, Jenkins, Hawk, and Peterson all choose to stay on one more year. Its a team now. Not a bunch of head cases with a me, me, me, me attitude.

    In my experiences with scUMmers, they always live in the 1900-1940 range. I guess wins against "Lehman's School for the Blind", "Women's State Penn" and "Kalamazoo JVS" are considered an accomplishments for the glorified weasels.

    I think it's funny to hear scUMmers rebuttal...

    I am only concerned about the last game played against SCUM.....also Coach T's 3-1 record vs them is also very nice.

    Its been my experience that they whine when they lose, just like their head coach.........

    Great info, i hate when those pricks bring up that record. The other think i hate is there is a guy here that is scum fan and when i started to bust his balls he said "well at least we are going to the rose bowl" my reply was simple, "you were given roses"

    Let's put a big * next to their national title since they shared one in 97 with Nebraska and their last outright one was 1948.
