A coworker went to see his friend fight in some sort of ultimate fighting tournament this weekend. He had some pretty sick stories. His friend trains with a group of 12 other guys and they went 13-0 this weekend. This guy's fight lasted 45 seconds. I guess the shortest fight was 15 seconds. One guy went out on a stretcher but was reported to be fine.

No doubt...I scanned 20 pages and saw some good ones...and some worthless ones. There are a number of Kimbo fights in there...that is a badass.

WOW... this amazes me. That's my dog right there I've been to alot of those fights. Team Kimbo represents down here but I thought that was just a 305 thing. My best friend Rey is a fighter too. Those guys all work for In the Vip down here. I was just out with Kimbo on Wed. during a shoot at a local club for their websites.

no doubt! i wonder how much money they make serving up beatdowns...

Kimbo gets atleast 5K per fight... some other teams/oppenents people will put up money against the In the Vip crew for added bonus. It depends on the footage too. My boy gets paid minimum 1500 but knocked out a guy that was much bigger and got 3500. They're getting more organized now and are gonna fly out to Hawaii for some sanctioned fights with minimal rules... but wearing padded gloves. These fights will pay 10k plus. Also look out in the next couple years for Kimbo and possibly Rey to hit the big screen. Chuck Liddel is doing a movie about "backyard" brawls and has already casted Kimbo for it.

Loved that fight someone posted on here a while back where some dorky looking white dude who's a boxer whooped Kimbo's fucking ass.

Any boxer would absolutely annihilate Kimbo.

Sean Gannon was the guy's name, the video is definitely on here somewhere, but as far as I know I think he was just an amateur mixed martial arts fighter. One of the links on that site that Grad linked has the video but it's not free.

EDIT: I Googled Gannon's name and the very first link is the video, here you go:

http://www.vidiac.com/video/F12AD660-0FF1-493D-B003-AD26E548ED01.htm

Also, here is Gannon's wikipedia bio:

Sean "The Cannon" Gannon is a Boston, Massachusettes police officer who gained notoriety on the internet after video of him defeating underground street fighter Kimbo Slice in a bare-knuckle fight became widely distributed. The notoriety lead him to be the focus of a front page article on the Boston Herald, and an internal Boston Police investigation into his off-hours activities. The incident also caught the attention of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, who then promoted a fight between him and professional mixed martial arts fighter Branden Lee Hinkle. Although Gannon had handled Kimbo Slice, a street brawler without any martial arts training, Hinkle made short work of him, dominating the fight and aggressively earning a one-sided victory at UFC 55.
