Fox Sports 1 (at least its not ESPN)

Cannot take Erin Andrews' voice.

They had a five-minute segment with Andrews, Eddie and others on "FOX Sports Live" and her voice doesn't work in some settings. She also either didn't have control of the panel or Petros (the USC guy) wouldn't shut up.

That FOX college football crew needs to be looked at.

Wait, there was a segment with Andrews and Petros Pukeadorkis, and you couldn't take HER voice? Jesus, do you have weirdly tuned dog ears or something where you're somehow incapable of hearing HIM?

Earned a 0.0 rating yesterday.
Now, it's fairly dead this time of year, at least until football starts. But FS1 is off to a bad start.

There are a lot of networks that earn a hashtag rating at one time of day or another. Judging a network in its infancy on one night's late fringe rating is hardly a nail in the coffin. A more interesting story would have been to compare the ratings by network side by side using broadcast dayparts in the 5p-12m window. I'm sure BTN was all the rage in 11p-12m two weeks after launch. Just give it time. Having said that, it should be interesting to dig through the data once the November book is published.

I have flipped over to FS1 multiple times later in the evening and at night and it is always UFC or Boxing. FS2 has been UEFA Soccer. I'm trying to give it a chance, but their lineup and time slots don't match up with my schedule so far.

Same here, you'd have to think that they're going to continue to pursue hot programming. I'm very interseted to see what they do with all of their live sports coverage... if they decide to pull games off their regional networks to hit the national audience. Would love to be able to see the Reds from time to time since I live outside of the STO / FSOH coverage area.

As far as big programming rights up for bid in the near future, it's limited to just the NBA and the Big Ten.

Since the NBA is probably going to stay with Turner and ESPN (unless FOX or NBC go nuts w/ a bid), the Big Ten seems to be the only one that can actually be bid on. And that's not even until 2015 when the conference will even start negotiating.

You figure FOX will try to re-do some of its NFL or MLB deals to include games on FS1, but NFL games are sparse (since the Thursday game is usually on NFL Network).

They're talking gambling, numbers (i.e. lines) and covering spreads in college football on "FOX Sports Live".

This is different. Didn't actually watch the segment because Clay Travis was on it and I fast-forward thru anything w/ him on FS1.
