I laughed earlier when 4 of them were all spending a large amount of time looking at Hubbard's profile. I don't know what they liked there, but something caught their beady little eyes.

OK, we're upgraded to RC2.

I'm definitely interested to hear if you all see the same things (edit: meaning bugs and quirks) you did before. Please, if/when you get a chance, go back and check to see if you can still replicate any of those old bugs, glitches, etc.

Also, keep an eyeball out for any new ones and let me know. I'm on the vbulletin.com forum as much as I am this one at the moment, so I can pass along any reports, requests, etc.

Everything looks good to me. Everything I've noticed has been fixed except, the layout/formatting issues on the "seach page". And that really isn't an issue with functionality be with aesthetics. The only other thing I can remember is that the smilies having a blue tint, but that's not a software issue either. Thanks again Clarity the new version is sweet. I really like the dialogue boxes that pop up when you pause your cursor over something, try pausing it over your "reputation" icon/graphic.

Do you happen to have something to screen capture with? I'd be interested to see what the search page looks like for you. No worries if you don't, it's not worth downloading and installing something.

Also, is your Edit Avatar link there now?

Clarity, here's the screen shots. I had to keep reducing them to get under to 50k limit so resolution might be an issue, but you should still be able to see what I'm talking about. The first one is full page on a 17" monitor. The problem is on the right side of the screen. The second screen shot is scrolled to the right and down to see the area more clearly. I've included arrows for the second screen shot. The problem "could" also be browser related, I'm using IE 5.1. I think 5.2 is most current for the Mac, so 5.1 isn't that far out of date. All the other pages/areas of BuckeyePlanet display proberly on my system and I do NOT need to scroll over to see any page elements EXCEPT for this page. That's why I think something "odd" is happening here. Also the "Search Forum" box should completely contain the 2 boxes that reside inside of it (they contain the options). But both boxes extend pass the "Search Forum" box on the right side. Again this could be a browser issue AND isn't an issue with functionality but with aesthetics.

I'm not able to replicate that, so I'm wondering if it's a problem in the code relative to the browser you're using. Either way, thanks for the images, I'm going to go ask about this on vB. 5.1 on Mac shouldn't be a problem at all. I seriously doubt it's anything on your end, I bet they just need to tweak some of the code a bit.

FYI, I'm attaching what I see, and what it should look like. I know it's just an aesthetic quirk, but like we said, better to hit the devs with it now while they're trying to make everything right.

FWIW, I just increased file dimension and size limits for .gifs and .jpgs.

gbear, lol. That's always a question with me I think.

3yards - vB devs confirmed your formatting issue as an outstanding bug, it's also in IE 5.2 under OS 10.3 (and perhaps others). They'll fix it for the next update. I'm passing along their thanks.

Well I guess vB is welcome. "Outstanding Bug", what an odd term. I hope they mean that they really like the bug for all it's merits :tongue2: . Anyway, another thought popped up. What about a link button or something to get to the Chat Room. I know it's seldom used (at least right now), but it could gain some popularity and it's always difficult to search the threads to find a post that contains a link to the Chat Room. Just a thought.

I've actually found a chat package that fully integrates into the messageboard. Same usernames, shows who is chatting down at the bottom of the forum, same aesthetic, etc. So when the final release of vB hits, I'm going to be installing that I think.

I've found a few add-on goodies that I think will be fun. One goofy set I'm installing today just to amuse myself.

C-Dog, the double-login bug has reared its head again. I had rebooted my computer due to a hangup in another program. After boot-up, I started up IE, came to BP, and logged in. When I did, it prompted me that I had a new PM and showed me as logged in. When I clicked OK on the prompt box to open my PM, it sent me to the page that says I'm not logged in or don't have proper permissions. Once I logged in again everything was OK. Weird.
