Game Thread For the Natty vs ND, “One More, Then Forever”, Jan. 20th, 34-23 Buckeyes!

Named to virtually every freshman All-America team so far, Moore has an 88.7 overall grade with Pro Football Focus that places him seventh among all cornerbacks with at least 300 snaps. Colorado star Travis Hunter, the Heisman Trophy winner, is sixth.

Should be a great matchup best true Freshman CB in the nation vs the best true freshman WR.

Moore also has an interesting connection to OSU. His father a history professor at UT(not sure if its Austin) got his PHD at Ohio State

Who did he go against?

Seriously name one good WR he faced this year.

Be like me bragging about scoring 88% run stop rate vs 8th graders lol

My advice is to drink heavily
no I don’t think anyone wants that here lol

But looking into it ND did not play one ranked team in the regular season other than Army and had the 57th SOS. Then had the easier half of the bracket in the playoffs vs Indiana at home, UGA without a QB, and Penn State without WRs.

There’s six offenses ND played this year ranked inside the top half of the rankings and here’s the number of yards given up through the air.

1. USC 360 (back up QB)
2. Louisville 264
3. Ga Tech 269
4. Indiana 215
5. UGA 234 (back up QB in his first start)
6. UVA 172

ND also got both Navy and Army who combined barely got 100 yards passing. Looking at who had success on ND I think it’s safe to assume none of those teams are truly that good. Especially since USC and UGA were without their QBs.

this is the first good offense ND has truly faced. One that can throw, run, and one that won’t be missing their QB.
