Yeah. Fuck this guy eternally. He can hide behind so called "objectivity" all he wants. There are plenty of guys in his profession that don't go out of their fucking way to slam their alma mater, make baseless claims that are later proven wrong about players from his alma mater, and say downright harmful things about their alma mater. Maybe deep down he really does love Ohio State, but he has done harm to her because he's a corporate puppet/whore. And whipping up some tears to weep like a little girl with a skinned knee on TV doesn't change any of that. Get bent, Herbie.

100% this. I'm not an idiot. Obviously he loves the program. But he apparently loves money and fame more. And he's a fragile little bitch, so it probably wouldn't take as much money and fame as they're giving him, because he can't handle the criticism so he lashes out with an amount of glee that makes you question the "Obviously he loves the program" part.

That mother fucker probably deserves more ire than Herbie for the post game stuff. SVP (the ONLY good thing about ESPN) asks Herbie about his thoughts, and that piece of shit jumps right in goading Herbie with the "they were ripped apart by a lot of their own people in Columbus". And the disgust he said it with. Fuck that shitbag, too.
