Yeah, that was right.

And if I may soap box a little, I don't care whether Chiellini touches the ball or not, he's "involving" himself and clearly offside.

Just checked. Going in, England was 16 out of 24 for attemps through 6 games played (40 total).

All 8 teams behind them, except Wales (4), only played half the number of games (3).

Blah. I almost want to root for them because they have so much talent and fun players but goodness they make it hard.

I mean, I can't even really put my finger on it, but they're just maddening. Probably around the 75th minute the danes are quite obviously gassed, they're committing fatigue fouls, not really defending till about 35-40 yards out and England is getting a lot of uncontested looks quite a bit closer.... Like at soms point just load up a runner to both posts and start firing crosses in there. You're getting that with 6-7 guys, they're not going to counter.

But no, lets make little triangles out at the edge of the area and nibble.

That game was gross, particularly after England got the equalizer. And then the ending…won’t go as far as saying England was undeserving - they clearly had the better team and control - but spare me on the final result coming from that weak dive. And Kane’s pen…yuck.

Seemed to be all England wanted for the final 50 minutes was a PK because they don’t trust themselves enough to do it on their own and are too scared to commit to anything creative.
