Sounds like Lucas Moura is close to completing a deal with Inter Milan. Nothing is official yet, but all signs are pointing to the deal being nearly complete.

Transfer saga of Lucas Moura takes another twist as PSG have launched a significantly larger bid than both United and Inter. I don't see anything being finalized until he's done with at the Olympics, but the reported bid from PSG seems to be quite outlandish despite the fact he's a real quality talent.

Rumors have it that United have a bid of 30 Million Euros, while PSG just recently launched a bid for 45 Million Euros.

Lucas Moura will join PSG in January for the second half of their season. Their attacking options are borderline ridiculous now. Sir Alex Ferguson is upset that they've missed out on both Eden Hazard and Lucas Moura this summer.

Chelsea Not Willing to Raise Bid for Hulk

Chelsea won't go above their initial bid to sign Hulk from FC Porto. They believe his asking price is ridiculous and are ready to look elsewhere as Porto don't seem to be flinching from their 60M pound (!!!) asking price.

He thinks it's "amazing that PSG can pay 45 million for a 19-year old". They bid 30 for the same player and paid 25 for 18-year old Wayne Rooney before transfer fees were nearly as inflated as they are now.

The spending is ruining the sport, but there's something special about the EPL Yankees being out-bid and publicly bitching about it.

Montpellier begain their Ligue 1 title defense with a 1-1 draw against Toulouse. Three red cards between both teams. Quite strange to hear Ray Hudson's voice commentating a Ligue 1 game as I watched it streamed on beIN SPORT USA. You can stream the channel on the site up until August 15th. Whether or not ANYONE actually gets that channel on their cable service provider after that remains to be seen.
