Florida State Seminoles (official thread)

Deion's first move would be to sue the NCAA because they sanctioned FSU and put them on probation in order to keep him from succeeding there.
What? They were already sanctioned and on probation when he took the job? Doesn't matter. NCAA still did it to keep Deion down. Suit on. He's the victim of their malicious actions.
The real story however will be how insufferable BlueBloodsBias would become if he became an FSU dickrider in addition to being one for Deion.

Wow. They got hammered over their OC giving a kid a ride to meet with an NIL rep?

If this is what FSU gets for some petty shit, then Michigan better get nuked for what they did. But I have a feeling this is extra harsh because Florida State went after ESPN and the playoff committee.
I mean.....we don't have to pretend to be this naïve. Why do we think a coach would be giving a ride to meet with an NIL rep? You think the issue is mileage reimbursement?

Schools aren't supposed to be involved with getting recruits or players money from an NIL deal. NIL is supposed to be when a car dealership thinks they can sell more cars if the starting QB is on a commercial telling people to buy cars from them. It's 1000000000% not supposed to be what it currently is......if you sign with Miami we'll give you $1m just for existing. If a coach is driving a kid to an NIL meeting, that's pretty cut and dry against the rules. This isn't petty. I wish every school would get whacked for this. I know Ohio State is currently doing it, and I wish it was demonstrably illegal so they could stop and get back to what the NIL was supposed to be: paying players for companies to use their names, images, and likenesses. Then we can have kids not going to Texas A&M or Miami just for the cash when they know damn well they would get better coaching and development somewhere else.

Yeah, that's it. They didn't mind Bama or Ohio State or Clemson or Georgia......but FSU is just a step too far.
If the NCAA is scared of anyone it seems to be tcun since they’ve been quiet as a mouse about that while slapping fsu with sanctions over giving Mims a ride to see boosters. I get that it was a stupid and obvious violation, but wasn’t also the whole sign stealing scandal?
