It has run it's course outside of tailgating and in game. It's actually never been "cool". It's no different than "We Are". Annoying.
It doesn't take tens, hundreds, even thousands of people to spell Ohio. Everyone knows how to do it.

In Columbus? Yes, I agree. Never do that in Ohio. However, in LA, GA, CO, KS, etc. is it still "uncool?"
