I wouldn't touch this even with vMoney.

3 things I heard on the radio recently strike me as funny from a Buckeye perspective.
  1. On Mike&Mike in the morning I heard Dick Vitale list Ohio State first in the STOCK-UP portion of his stock-up/stock-down schtick. He says that OSU might pull the double of winning NCs in both football and b-ball in the same school year.
  2. On the drive home, I heard Eric Caselias debate who has the best combination of football/basketball programs in the nation right now. His guest, a Florida alumnus, claimed it was the Gators. Eric said it was the Buckeyes.
  3. Wanting to hear what the locals had to say about Thursday night's game between the 'Noles and the Wolfpack; I switched over to the local sports station. They're all 'Noles, all the time. They were talking about BASKETBALL!!
I don't know about you, but as an Ohio State fan, I thought it was a bit early to be bringing up basketball. I was willing to give Dicky V. a pass because that's his thing. But hearing it mentioned twice in a day or two just seemed too early. Let December come before we shift focus even a little bit.

To juxtapose that with the Seminole fans having already punted on the football season speaks volumes. These folks here care less about basketball than OSU cares about the Rifle team. They don't have a great coach, they don't have a killer recruiting class coming in, they don't have great expectations; and they are more willing to talk basketball right now than OSU fans.

Same here. Amato has won three of the last five against FSU, and in the two losses the margin of victory for FSU was a TD or less.

Shit. I need my head examined having this much confidence in Chucky the Chest.

Nonsense! Gondoknockers McSqueak will keep this one close!...come to think of it, it seems like anyone who needs to save their job that was associated with Bowden either beats FSU, or keeps it close.
