you guys realize that it was a blessing in disguise for Terry Porter to throw that flag, right? ...IF Coker had started out 25-0 with 2 NCs he'd have a lifetime contract, and you'd be stuck with him ''til death do us part'... at least now, there's a chance that he'll get fired...

Yeah, this bears mentioning again. I think I'm one of the few around these message boards that still likes Kirk, but I was dumbfounded by his choice of Miami as a title contender/winner. What about that program over the past few years and the changes since their bowl blowout would lead someone to think that they were headed towards a dominant year? A quick glance at the talent level shows that it's going DOWN not up, and no amount coaching can overcome a lack of talent. Then, when you bring coaching into the equation...yeesh.
