Florida Rematch in 2007?

How is this for an argument, he was poised all year whenever he came in, didn't make stupid mistakes, and came through when Florida needed him just as a freshman, and was vital in their title run.

That was a crappy argument and it doesn't mean shit for his Sophomore, Junior or Senior year.

Now lets see if you can poke a whole in that.

:slappy:

I'd rather poke a HOLE in your English

ohiovol, I've seen your posts before, and they all have been derogatory to OSU ever since about January 13. Let's see...oh yeah, that's the day we beat you in basketball. What a coincidence! Dude, you're on an OSU board, so if all you are here to do is to say over and over again that UF beat us down on January 8, then get lost.

That is not an argument, it is a litany of opinions. Don't they teach forms of argument at UT?

It's all he has.

Typical SEC fan - taking credit for another's successes.

Agreed that Tebow played a role and did very well. However, McFadden played much the same role for Arky. So you must think that McFadden is going to be a stud QB too, right?

Is the SEC pasttime to sprint to this board and flame about how great UF is, not their personal team (Bama, LSU, etc)... what's funny is that the few civil SEC fans I can remember were actually UF fans.

I've worked with a Florida fan on occaision and he isn't anything like what the consensus reputation of SEC fans are.

But he could be the exception

Stud RB, not QB. You can't really say he and Tebow played the same role.

Did you even watch any games in your own conference? McFadden and Tebow were part of special packages -- very similar packages at that. And they threw a similar amount of times for similar stats. Just because you LABEL one as a RB and the other as a QB doesn't mean that the "QB" will be a stud when he actually has to play the position.

Believe me, I watched plenty of SEC games. McFadden came in at QB because Arkansas didn't have a QB. Tebow has been playing this position for years, and he came in at big moments, and helped lead them to victory. Passing, McFadden had one TD against Florida that didn't matter, one against Tennessee that I must say wasn't fun to watch. :tongue2: Not sure where he got his third touchdown but I still don't think it's fair to make that same comparison.
