This is a fun one.

2 Rumors circulating

1. That Florida promised a bunch of NIL money that they can't actually pony up, so now he wants out :lol:

2. is That Cryami has been meddling and upped their offer which prompted him to try to weasel out of his LOI

Hilarity either way. Reading the Florida board it seems like they think it's that the UF collective isn't going to pay, or can't pay. Word is the big money players had a last minute change of heart and don't want to front a ton of money on a unproven high school QB.

Florida was probably expecting this guy to start right away too.

Their current remaining QB depth chart

Jack Miller - I guess maybe he could still end up ok but he has not shown much in his limited time.
Max Brown - 3* #1558 overall #96 QB in the 2022 class
Kyle Engel - Walk On
Jack Anders - Walk On

Florida has released 2023 quarterback prospect Jaden Rashada from his letter of intent, a source told ESPN. Rashada asked for his release after a reported $13 million NIL deal fell through.

Yeah it was a stupid bidding war they realized not even Caleb Williams type was worth that then tried to renege
