Have to give BIG props to this kid from Tampa, freshman Preston Tucker, who tied the friggin' SEC single-game record (and made a new UF record) getting 11 ribbies in 16-3 win over UCF. The freshman first baseman hit a grand slam to right field in the 5th, another slam to center in the seventh and a lowly three run dinger to left center in the sixth. :banger:

You go Gator :groove:

Tucker was named SEC Freshman of the Week

Supposed to be Dekker, Pigott and Barnes in the outfield tonight.

Game should be on in a minute or so on Gator streaming radio...
Thanks. They sure give him hell there. I heard last year his sister and mom were mixing it up with the fans in the outfield.

Gators Sweep the Leg Humpers!!!! :pirate1::groove::banger::cheers::groove2:

UF took the first two games, and trailed the Georgia Bulldogs 7-4 after eight innings in the final game in Athens Sunday.

The Gators then scored SIX FREAKING RUNS in the top of the 9th to beat the Butt-Sniffers 10-8!!!

UGA was rated Number 1 at some point pre-Gator beatdown. Ain't gonna be #1 no more. :groove3:

I'm just glad to see the team ERA fall so dramatically after our new coach and resident pitching genius came on board.

Should be a good series at the Box. While I want to win - obviously- I'm still having a great time this year just enjoying the improvement and seeing a chance for a regional appearance in someplace other than Tally or Miami. :banger:

Wow! The Gators swept Georgia in Athens!

From the GatorZone(Free)

Down three runs entering the ninth, No. 17 Florida (34-14/16-8 SEC) staged another remarkable comeback to complete a weekend sweep of No. 6 Georgia (33-15/14-10 SEC) with a 10-8 triumph on Sunday afternoon at Foley Field. Trailing 7-5 after a passed ball allowed junior Mike Mooney (Loxahatchee, Fla.) to score, freshman Preston Tucker (Tampa, Fla.) cranked a go-ahead, three-run homer off freshman Cecil Tanner (3-1) and freshman Jerico Weitzel (Ridgway, Pa.) later provided insurance with a two-run single.
