  • Florida Gators Baseball (Rivals)

Sorry about getting this thread started so late.

The Florida Gators hope to build on last season's surprising success. They are 10-7 and ranked #25 in the Nation (March 18th) after last being swept last weekend by their SEC Rival Arkansas Razorbacks. But they ended their 3 game slide with an impressive 9th inning walk-off win over the Florida State Seminoles (Rivals Free)

WTF???? Somehow my post about the FSU game ain't here...not that I can't mess that up. Anyway, a 9th inning win over the hated Noles 5-4 on St. Paddy's day is always nice. Tonight, I'm channel surfing, and I see the UCF Gator game rebroadcast on some network so obscure that I forgot it the second they said it. Gator won in any event, and have a series starting tomorrow with the dentally challenged ones from Knoxville.

Being a Daytona native, you'll forgive me for rooting the Bethune-Cookman on the 7th and UCF on the 8th, right?

Fuck no! Explain the circumstances that you would agree would allow me to root against tOSU?

Those circumstances simply don't exist in real life.

No. 25 Baseball Overpowers UT, 10-2, To Clinch Series - GatorZone.com

All nine starters had at least one hit as No. 25 Florida (13-7/2-3 SEC) clinched its weekend
series against Tennessee (9-11/1-4 SEC) with a 10-2 victory at McKethan Stadium in front
of 2,929 fans on Saturday afternoon. The Gators defeated the Vols in a regular-season
series for the first time since 2003 and extended their winning streak to four games.

Finally, the bats came out. Maybe just the confidence level increase from this game will lead to them taking better cuts.

    That's usually how it works...
