I always thought it was strange where it was located on Tennessee, but most definitely it isn't next to Floyd's. If anything, he should have said it was next to Chubby's.

Two FSU football players have been arrested in connection with the
November 12th campus fight.

Bert Reed and Cameron Wade were both arrested on Wednesday on
midsdemeanor charges of battery touch or strike.

It was the third suspension in a month for Reed and the second for Surrency, a 24-year-old junior college transfer. Reed's first suspension was for skipping classes. The other suspensions for Reed and Surrency were for unspecified violations of team rules.

In fairness to Reed, the only reason he was suspended for skipping classes, is because they're trying to show academics DO matter after the cheating scandal. Otherwise, I'm sure it would have been business as usual. I can't remember the last time a player was suspended for anything less than having pot in a car with a loaded handgun.

Im actually surprised only two arrests came of this Wreslemania Extravaganza. None of the fraternity brothers were arrested I don't think. The report states Correy Surrency ducked a flying chair that struck a chick in the dome. I'd assume that was a frat guy throwing the chair b/c I doubt a player would be trying to knock Surrency out. But then I remebered Chris Rix covers sports for Fox News and he was probably attempting to hit a frat guy.

I think you would have sensed the sarcasm in the post...it's funny of all things players have gotten away with over the years, Bert Reed gets a 1 game suspension for missing class. That's essentially what Preston Parker got for driving a car with a loaded gun and marijuana. Sweetness.

But that is me. The younger gators who started getting into it during the Spurrier years think y'all are, but the end of the Spurrier-Bowden battle sort of made it less of a heated deal.
