OK, ignore most of the video, it's just Gator love fest stuff, but look at Tebow truck a Nole safety at the 1:20 mark.

I love that [censored]!

Edit: fixed the link

The reaction in the stadium to that hit was absolutely hilarious. Several people around me saw the safety coming up to make the play. They admonished him in their own redneck way to hit Tebow hard. He tried. They got real quiet except for a few murmurs that you could hear in spite of the gator cheering.

Two other observations I should have posted earlier:

I don't recall Ohio State fans booing a visiting band the way the Nole fans booed the gator band. I don't get that. Sure, we boo the McDonald's High-School All American band when they start playing TSUN's fight song in our house (why do they use the McDonald's band anyway?); but we usually only boo once. Doak Campbell behaved toward the band the way Ohio Stadium would behave toward Desmond Howard. Their in the freakin' band; why boo them???

The cheering when Percy Harvin got hurt was not localized to the student section. It was by far the most classless thing I've ever personally witnessed at a sporting event.

OK, one more thing; not sure if I covered this earlier:

FSU cheerleaders are slippery when wet... and damn hot too.

They sorta kinda don't like us. Historically, UF was the Flagship and FSU the woman's college. All the legislature was UF, FSU got the hind tit on funding. Add to that, for a long time most of the kids who went there were there because they were rejected by UF's admissions office. Now, that is all in the past, but it set the tone of the rivalry. When UF was crippled with sanctions, FSU started its rise to prominence. Bobbah choose to join the ACC where he had the guaranteed wins rather than accept the SEC invitation. That - and the fact they were freaking good - led to their "dynasty."

So you had a situation where one guy who has a massive inferiority complex suddenly was successful. When I saw a game in - I think - 1970 FSU had never beaten Florida. Then Bobby got 'em on track. Bobby beat Spurrier in he and Bobbah's overall rivalry. Then things got back to normal. The School Out West got to see our multiple MNC years as they faded. With this year's win Bowden no longer has a winning record versus UF. (Of course, we own the overall quite handily) They are looking at a few more years of continued beatings, with UF having a nice streak on them with no hope in sight, sanctions possibly coming, and a coach that won't step down as the program slides. Our success is like a burr under a blanket to them.

They used to have a cheer when I was in School "Go to Hell Gainesville" - meaning everything encompassed and touched by UF.

I love to hear about their unhappiness with us. Makes me smile.

Edit: Yeah - lots of hot Nole Coeds :p

That reminds me of Tim Wilson's impression of Bobby Bowden. Hilarious. I can't find it on teh intrawebs anywhere, but it's fantastic.

Q: Coach, didn't your player get arrested last night?
BB: He did...he did.....but he's a gud kid.
Q: I mean, he raped three women, right?
BB: He did...he did, but we's gon' punish him. He's a good kid that jus' made a mistake. Wu'll handle it.

I'd feel bad for all of the ACC dead though.

You lie.
