I think not having Harvin is really hurting Florida. In my opinion he's almost as valuable to them as Tebow. I'd like to see Tebow and Harvin together in this game. I'm surprised that Florida defense isn't playing better. It'll be interesting if Ohio State plays the loser of this game...although from what I hear, that backdoor deal isn't as likely now, and it's probably Texas/Missouri.

Not to whine, but the assholes did not show the replay on the play where the gator reciever was saying he was held by the facemask tthat led to the missed fg. Anybody tape it and know if that was true it was a miss? Woulda been first down on the `15..

No way for us to know because CBS's replays blow chunks, all we saw was the camera following the ball and at that point the receiver was 2 yards past the defender.

If you were a defensive player and UF ran that wildcat formation wouldn't you come up and blast the shit out of Tebow while he is on the line? I don't think Meyer would be running that too often if that happened.

that facemask on demps looke dpretty weak there. Referees have the option of not throwing a flag if it looked like the previous 5 yard variety. He didn't need the facemask to make that tackle, and he let it go immediately. He certainly did grasp it for a brief moment, but not enough for the now 15 yard facemask penalty. Pretty good break there.

I played it about 5 times in slow-mo. The Bama defender DEFINITELY had his hand on the left side of the recievers face mask...he either pushed the side of the recievers helmet, which would have been PI IMHO (I think the ball was close enough to be catchable), or just flat out grabbed it, but i'm not sure if he grabbed the facemask or not, you can't tell...but his hands were defintely there, and he definitely caused the reciever's head to move to the right...obviously keeping him from seeing or catching the pass.

Looked like Hightower got the edge of the mask with his fingers, IMO, and any facemask is 15 yards now. Can't tackle that high, too much risk for facemask or horsecollar.

Not too many DBs are going to blast Tebow. Pretty stout for a QB.
