Against our team, who is small, whose primary shot blocker is just a power forward, you gotta attack the inside more. Turner, Lighty and Diebs are all perhaps NBA talent (Diebler for that white guy who gets 4 minutes off the bench to chuck 3s), so having them out there for a whole game is fine. Our conditioning is great. I mean, we had Jamal Butler playing that way the whole season without serious breakdownbuckeyes_rock;1611190; said:Buford was 1-12 from the field. As smooth as he looked last year, this year he's totally out of rhythm. Great to see Simmons come in and drill some big shots though. He's definitely picked up his game.
Props to FSU who never stopped hustling and a shout out to their big man, Alabi...for a big dude, he has a very nice touch on the ball. If he can get big enough/strong enough, he could become a very nice player.
I'm a little nervous that we can only go 7 deep though against a good team. I'd imagine against Big Ten opponents, we'll see PJ. But still, that's a lot of minutes! Turner, Lighty and Diebs went all 40 minutes tonight.
