When OSU smokes Scum this year, I wonder if he will be kicking himself for making these comments? The commitment tweet alone was enough to alienate himself from OSU.

One does not come back from that, and if he ends up re-opening his recruitment, most top schools, including OSU should have their QB1.

Again, I don't think he wss truly in the top group of who OSU after, but stupid asf.

I think gloves are off with this one unless mods say otherwise. He couldn't have handled this worse, and I can't believe that Day would re-offer should he become available again. I don't care if he's the #1 overall recruit, you don't get a second chance after this. If as many are predicting tcun drop 4 or 5 this year, things will get real interesting for this kid.

And on second thought he's right. Ohio State doesn't have tcun's culture, and he wouldn't have fit in. He'll fit in perfectly up there though.

Just gonna leave this here from my post not even 2 months ago in the Cedric Hawkins thread….

What is up with people from this HS and Ohio State? Bruce Judson commits and then decommits. Jayvon Boggs commits and then decommits. And now Cedric Hawkins leaves after one year. Just seems odd. Anyway, best of luck to Cedric wherever he ends up, wish him nothing but success.
