FL OL Jordan Seaton (Colorado Signee)

Wiltfong said Jordan Seaton may have to reschedule due to IMG having practice this Saturday.
Well crap, hopefully not. I don't know if Seaton has been to a game yet? And practice on a Saturday? Practice on a Saturday only meant one thing when I played and that is because your coach is pissed at you. Film and a run afterwards sure, but full practice almost never...and especially not if it stopped an official visit from happening, probably the vast majority of the IMG team have visits lined up this weekend.

In any event, hope he can make it but if not maybe the Minnesota game works out.

I just dont feel confident in this one and that's just my opinion. Watch their actions more than their words

Ohio State wants the last visit so there’s less time for someone to outbid them. The later the visit the better (as long as it does, in fact, happen).

Interesting stuff on 11W forums....

This from the "THE Podcast" Text subscription, so I assume this is Birm speaking but:

Two key official visits that WON'T happen this weekend: Jordan Seaton and Carlon Jones.

Jones has a playoff game and will visit on Nov. 18th weekend instead.

Seaton has a "practice" that his coaches/administrators at IMG won't allow him to miss. It's another weird chapter in what seems like a recurring issue between Ohio State and IMG. Justin Frye is trying very hard to get him to campus the following weekend. Seaton not visiting would be a major blow for the Buckeyes in this cycle and it seems like there are some people with a vested interest in making sure it doesn't happen.

This is also from Birm

My belief is — and I’m absolutely just conjecturing — is that there is a person or two on the staff at IMG who has financial incentive for Seaton to end up elsewhere

Chad Simmons on OT Jordan Seaton.
Ohio State remains in the race for Jordan Seaton. The plan right now is for him to get back to campus in December.
Seaton will be visiting Tennessee and Oklahoma the next two weeks.
It is important to remember that things are very fluid with Seaton right now and can change very quickly.

Josh Newberg continues to like Ohio State's approach to this recruitment.
This is all part of Ohio State's strategy, to get him on campus as late as possible.
Jordan is young and impressionable, gets excited, and the best time to do a visit is right before signing

OT Jordan Seaton: Going to Tennessee this weekend and Birm thinks they may be the team to beat here. OSU is doing everything they can to get Seaton on campus and the plan is the final visit on the weekend of December 8-9. Birm still thinks things may be working against the Buckeyes here behind the scenes but they aren't giving up.

JORDAN SEATON

Seaton has moved from No. 1 to No. 5 on the board, not because of the impact he’d bring to Ohio State, but because it’s unclear if he’s ever going to visit Columbus. The Buckeyes tried to set up a gameday visit with Seaton this fall, but that was unable to materialize. OSU hasn’t given up, though, and the Buckeyes still want to get the top-rated offensive tackle in the 2024 class on campus for an official visit before National Signing Day.
