IEP?Sorry, I can’t read but I’m working on it. My employer made a reasonable accommodation for me.
Birm said “out” after saying his name on the live show when doing his list in a more serious note unless I misunderstood..?
Not committing to Ohio State tomorrow and not in Ohio State’s 2024 recruiting class.
Concurred but if Scott deterred him, it's odd but fine. Jackson would probably get on the field quick either way, but we all know Scott is the obvious preference here. I was just hoping it wasn't an either-or scenario, Jackson could be really good. But as long as we keep Scott, the DT class will likely be great paired with last year's.BOL as long as it isn’t in AA.
Birm was really hammering the idea of allocating NIL resources in his live talking stuff last night. So it seems that it’s not so much that Jackson doesn’t want to split playing time with Scott, it’s that Scott locked up the #1 DT NIL package from Ohio State and Oklahoma/Texas/Miami are easily outbidding whatever package Ohio State still has on the table… especially because Ohio State still has some major NIL resources locked up for their remaining massive targets that will all require Ohio State match the NIL packages out there—Bolden over Georgia/Bama, Baker over Oregon/Texas, Stewart over South Carolina, etc.Concurred but if Scott deterred him, it's odd but fine. Welcome to the new world of recruiting.
Honestly, if it spreads the talent out more, I think it's good for the sport overall.
The talent won't ever really spread out evenly with the transfer portal. CFB won't ever see parity if kids can choose their schools. They'll mostly either go to the same schools to win, or go to a school to get a massive check(problem is, they'll be resented by a number of their teammates). But the same teams will continue to win conferences and national championships. NIL won't give programs like Stanford, IU, Wake Forest or Texas Tech a chance, it'll get them a big name player here and there(and it's questionable if they can even keep them long term), but nothing moreHonestly, if it spreads the talent out more, I think it's good for the sport overall.
