2023 FL DB Dijon Johnson (Ohio St. decommit, Florida Signee)

For some who seem surprised that he may flip to UF. UF hired essentially the Brian Hartline for CBs, we all are familiar with Corey Raymond. He's a main reason why UF is in it deep for Cormani McClain as well

A rumor is going around on the UF boards that Johnson may have a kid on the way, and this is what made him want to stay closer to home. If true, then I can’t blame the kid, and makes sense why he gave the staff at OSU no chance of keeping him
Tom Orr in all his videos has been hinting at a situation they couldn't control that required him to be closer to home. I blanketly assumed it was family health since he was so careful about not revealing what it was but that that makes sense as well.

I can’t imagine sticking with our offer to him knowing he may become a father and be over 500 miles from baby and momma.

I guess NIL may allow them to move to 614, but squeezing in football and school with new dad duties. Yuck.

Honestly kind of shocked if this is the big mystery commitment this weekend.
If this does come to fruition: he chose to stay close to home for personal reasons (rumored to be having a child), a path revealed itself how he could handle that situation while still going to Ohio State when it became apparent it was an issue (probably through NIL money), he accepted the option that allowed him to still go to Ohio State and recommits.

It seems pretty straightforward to me.
