I would be more inclined to share your confidence if I felt that the best team in the country consistently won the NCAA tournament.

Which is why I added those caveats. We are the best team in the country. But we need Sully and two perimeter shooters to be on fire to be guaranteed it. We could still win without that, but it would be a lot harder.

Indeed actually going by how kentucky has played on the road this year I think they might be a little mentally fragile. IF we got on a large run it could get in their heads like it did to GMU and snowball from there.

I'm very confident in winning the NC. However, this requires Sullinger to play well (not necessarily lights out) and 2 out of the 4 (Lighty, Buford, Diebler, and Craft) to be on fire. Have that and I think we are unstoppable.
I think that is true of all 16 teams left in the tournament. That the players that got their teams this far are going to have to continue to play like they have in the past few games.

I'm not really "scared," but I'm not overly confident, either. In my estimation, a ten game matchup with Kentucky results in 5 or 6 wins. Ditto with UNC, Duke, Kansas.

The truth of it all is that Kentucky and OSU will probably have coin flip type odds in each game from here on out...tough to win four of those in a row. I'm just trying to enjoy the ride and let the chips fall where they may.

Amen, OilerBuck. I would love to see four more wins but you know, it's been a great year.

I don't think Sully should go pro after this year. He needs another year or two. His head and feet are great, I think he needs more upper body strength, work on his game facing the basket. Make no mistake, he continues to exceed expectations, but if he goes after this year he will disappear, and be some team's first round, 9th overall pick disappointment.

He comes back, Weatherspoon is back, a 7-footer comes in (Amir), Craft and Buford and Thomas are back.... that's a heck of a team and I think he would have fun with it.

If we win out, I'll be really happy, but then I think it would be goodbye Sully.

Like you say, just trying to enjoy the ride.

go Bucks!

I think Bufford is gone next year. He has all the tools. He just looks like an NBA 2 guard to me. I say there is a 90% chance he declares after this year.

Let's enjoy these final four games before we start talking about who is going. It gets too depressing when I think about it.
