Congrats on a great year. My wife even said at the beginning of the year..watch out for Sullinger his brother was a beast. I brushed it off - I should have listened. Anyways..I'm a die hard Kentucky fan and we got a royal screwing in seeding. Enough said about that. What I want to know from Buckeye fans..are you guys scared of a Kentucky matchup? I just want you guys to know we're scared &%$#&&^ of the matchup, but feel it could be a interesting one. Whats your take on it?..as Buckeye fans GO BIG BLUE!

There isn't a team in the tourney that I'm scared of, this year. That being said, Kentucky is a pretty fuckin' good team this year. I think tOSU got a tough bracket. I'm happy about that. At least we won't have "Duked" our way to a NC if it happens.

I wouldn't say I'm scared of a Kentucky match-up. Most of the #4 seeds this year are really solid teams, (Kentucky, Texas, Wisconsin, not sure about Louisville). But Kentucky ranks very high compared with the nationally elite teams and probably could have been a #3 seed anyway.

I could see the upset happening, but its not a scary one. I only fear a match-up with the Aztecs... for my own personal health :biggrin:. Good to see you here.

As a diehard Buckeye fan that was born and raised and still living in the bluegrass, weslakeKyfan, you are a rare breed.....I am surrounded by Cats fans, all my buddies are Cats fans, my brother-in-law cheered at UK, and my wife and I currently have a friend cheering at UK. I would have expected your post to go something like this, "ya'll goin down! GO BIG BLUE!!! UK all the way baby! OHHHHHH C-A-T-S CATS CATS CATS!!!" I would love to introduce you to my buddies to show them how to be normal.....That is the only reason I hope we beat UK by 20 points. My wife is hoping for a 30 point win considering she cheered at Louisville.....That being said, I think it would be a good game. Sully has not seen anyone his size this year and Harrelson is pretty close. Jones may give us fits because of his length. I would say that Lighty would match up with him and Lighty is only 6-5. Not worried about Knight really. Craft will be in his face all game and will get him frustrated. Both teams like to shoot the 3, so I think whoever makes more would win the game.

LOL Well..I feel that way, but since this is a buckeyes forum I must show some respect. I personally think it will be a great matchup. Liggins is one of the best defenders in the country..then we have Miller,Lamb and Knight. And if Jones can quit acting like he is a point guard we would be a lot better.Harrelson is awesome and can't wait to see him match up with Jared. Of course..we gotta get past West Virginia first..ugh A battle of the short benches!

If you don't think our region is the most difficult, you must have been hit in the head while eating paint chips standing beneath a power line that was underneath a rock.

That said, I'm strangely not intimidated by the potential meetings. I'm more concerned when we get outside of our region where there are a lot of teams we don't necessarily match up well with.

Went over to the UK Rival's site CatsPause for a little recon. Every 10th thread is about Tubby Smith and/or Minnesota. It's really kind of creepy. They take a lot of pride in the fact Minnesota ended on a bad losing streak, which proves how awful a coach Tubby is. Not one person pointed out the Gophers lost two PGs in 20 days, going 11-3 with Joseph + Nolen (wins over UNC & WVU), 4-1 with Nolen only (wins over Purdue and Michigan), then 2-10 without either of them.

This was like ... what? Five years and two different head coaches ago?

Get a fucking grip UK fans.
