The spring walleye run in the Maumee river is starting. From now until May there will be people fishing for these fun fish. Estimates of the number of fishermen range over 200,000. It is not unusual to see over 10,000 at a time in the river at the pinnacle of the run. Right now the river is high but if there is no rain for a few days the river will be clogged with fish.
