You mean the Pizza place? Dad always talked about it, I have never been. Now they are back in Ohio, probably will never go.

From what I understand they are so busy that if you don't get your order in by 530 pm, too bad.

Lorenzo's is the seafood and chop house near the NJT Trenton station - its got a great old school mob feel to it and ridiculous food.

It's a chain in the UK but it's pretty good. The best one that I went to was in Cambridge.

holy shit! this one is tough.

no offense to anyone who lives outside of southern Louisiana, but no one does seafood like we do it down here.
i've tried seafood places in several different states, and i'm sorry, but it usually falls well short of what we do here.


boiled seafood - Big Al's in Houma, La
fried seafood - Bubbas Too in Thibodaux, La
snow crabs - Bogwalk in Houma, La
PoBoys - Domilise's in New Orleans
Char Broiled Oysters - Dragos in New Orleans
fried gator - this lil mom and pop type place off the beaten path in Lafayette, La (can't remember the name of the place though)
regular ole seafood platter - Copeland's (multiple locations)


copeland's also does a pretty good grilled redfish (not as good as the one i do at home, but it'll work)
haven't been to an Acme oyster house yet, but it's on my list


seriously though, the best seafoods i've ever eaten is always home cooked.

last year at work, we kicked the shit outta an ice chest of shrimp.

fried a bunch of it (about half wrapped in bacon) with fried onion rings, fried bellpeppers (green and red), barbecued shrimp (again about half of it wrapped in bacon), then boiled a bunch right after work.

holy crap we ate good that day

Went to Savannah when I lived in Warner Robins, Ga to scout hotels for family coming down to visit. There was some little rickity shack on the shore that sold seafood. They had like six items you could order there. One was some shrimp with a sauce. You picked what size and they'd make it in the back. It was the best fucking thing I've ever eaten. I have no idea what it was or what it was called.

Other than that, I like Captain D's. There's one in Nerk. For a chain, it's pretty damn good. I'm just glad Tibs isn't here to mock my unrefined tastes.

There are too many good seafood restaurants around me to really have a favorite. In fact, the Pompano Beach Seafood festival is today. If it stops raining, I might head down for some good food, beer and music after the spring game.
