Nope, first one is from Animal Kingdom, the other is from Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Islands of Adventure. I do have a few from New Fantasyland in my Flickr photostream, though.
Thanks. Mainly because the park closed at midnight that day, so I was waiting until most everyone had left the park to get shots without any people in them. Plus, the station also acts as the stroller rental/return location for the park, so I was also waiting for the strollers folks to finish putting stuff away. Getting stroller and people-free shots are basically the ultimate goal for Disney photos, especially at night. I can't count how many shots I've taken where I didn't realize at the time that there was a stroller off to the side of the frame because I was so focused on the subject only to open the image when I get home and have a tacky, ugly stroller sitting in an otherwise perfectly uncluttered frame drawing your eye away from the main subject.
Yep. Love taking pics over there, mostly because it has been largely ignored by the Disney photography community, so I have a chance to get the "best" shots first.
Lilac Breasted Roller, taken in Tarangire National Park, TanzaniaWhoa! What kind of bird is that? Also, jealous that you've had a chance to shoot lions in their natural habitat, that's a dream of mine to be able to go to Africa on a photo safari.
scarletmike, would you kindly post a link to your flickr page?
You have some serious talent. Those are awesome! Here's a little taste of what I've been up to with the camera in the last few months. Still haven't gotten a good shot of a Bald Eagle. Hopefully that will change this nesting season now that I have 3 or 4 different nests I can track.
Mark McGrath of Sugar Ray
The OSU Library (didn't have time to go up to the top floor, next time)
Empty Cave of the Winds decks (I was up to shoot the sunrise, which is how I got this without any tourists)
Troika and Giant Wheel at night (Cedar Point)
A Red Tail Hawk that let me get exceptionally close to his perch.
And finally, a young Red Shoulder Hawk
