I could go out and catch it if I wanted since I live in South Florida, but to get it fresh from my buddy who is a fishing boat captain is just as good.

they way I prepare it, the meat will just fall off the bone anyway. if you like wasting your money and paying per pound for bone you don't eat, go for it.

if i'm making Osso Bucco, then by all means, I agree. But I enjoy the marrow from lamb shanks a whole lot more than pork. And what little marrow you get from a half slab of ribs for two people isn't worth the effort for me.

exactly, that's why I go country style ribs for 5 bucks as opposed to a whole slab for double that.

cooked in beer for 7 hours in the oven, then finish with some bbq sauce. melts in your mouth, son.

Just made some tacos. Brown meat--> add Kroger brand seasoning/water-->make tacos.

sweet baby rays is what I use. I love making my own bbq, but it has like 30 ingredients in it and was a lot easier to make in the restaurant kitchens then at home.

a quick tip.....for an awesome Asian BBQ sauce to dip egg rolls or pot stickers in, add soy sauce and a bit of peanut butter to your Sweet Baby Ray's. It's da bomb
