Favorite crock-pot food

Knew a kid in elementary school who would bring Mayonaise sammichs with sugar sprinkled inside.

My 4-year-old "invented" a mayonaise and honey sandwich the other day.

He actually ate the whole thing.

As soon as the nausea from typing that settles down, I've gotta try mac and cheese in a crock pot. Sounds awesome.

Growing up my family was poor, so we had crock pot or pressure cooker meals twice a week. Bleh! :tongue2:

Winn-Dixie manger's special on some type of roast, with tons of dry rub and added fresh garlic, red wine, potatoes, capers, with carrots, celery, onions and green beans added an hour before serving.

Add Abita brewskie - like Turbodog or seasonal Pecan harvest

Chili, Spicy Italian Beef, Spaghetti Sauce.

Why would anyone do ribs in a crockpot? They belong in a smoker and should be cooked for at least 14 hours. Also, what the hell are boneless ribs? How can a rib not have a bone?

You mean, like Cuban ropa vieja?

Probably close to that as a base, but with a strong dose of Lime and Habanero.

It does go down well well with Black Beans, chopped onions, cheese and salsa (green being my favorite).
