Back to the thread. My favorite crock pot food is Spicy Italian sausage and sauerkraut.

Man... Good question... Lots of good stuff...

My top 5 would have to be:

1.) Mac and Cheese (comes out with a nice brown, crispy top)
2.) Chili
3.) Cocktail weenies in Barbecue sauce (or meatballs work too)
4.) Sauerkraut and Polish Sausage
5.) Loose meat sandwiches (for those in the Dayton area and know of the place, I have a recipe that tastes just like Made-Rites restaurant)

Made boeuf bourguignon last month... can't do the whole thing in a crock pot, but it did make the meal easier to manage and serve.

Otherwise, I usually use mine for Thai chicken, pot roast, chili, Hawaiian ham, macaroni and cheese, or meatballs for parties.

Hell no, he's so old he doesn't pack a whallop anymore. There was one time though when he tried to get rough and he broke his hip though. Not pretty.

You can do that with crabmeat as well,then also add some paprika & mayonaise if you wish! I just did this one last night.
