Definitely National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation - the movie so good/bad crass and moving it saved all the family from laboring through Hallmark moments for evermore.

Ellen: Clark, Audrey's frozen from the waist down.
Clark: That's all part of the experience honey.

Eddie: You surprised to see us, Clark?
Clark: Oh, Eddie... If I woke up tomorrow with my head sewn to the carpet, I wouldn't be more surprised than I am now.

Yeah, props to that. Hands down, my favorite (it's Emmet, by the way...).

I love all the old classic animated specials, but Rudolph has to be next on the list. Does it get any better than the Island of Misfit Toys?

I also used to love John Denver and the Muppets: A Christmas Together. Haven't seen it for years - I don't believe they ever put it out on video or DVD, but I have the old LP soundtrack. Good stuff.

A close tie between "White Christmas" (Bing Crosby, Rosemary Clooney, etc.) and "A Christmas Story".

Christmas isn't Christmas without Bing, IMHO.
