Great success. Gremlins is on the AMC app this week. Got to see my 9 year old daughters first oh shit, jump out of seat and hide her eyes moment.
About 10 minutes into post-metamorphosis she yells, “Why is this a Christmas movie?” I said, because it takes place on Christmas Eve and Gizmo wears a Santa hat.
I did fast forward the 2 minutes where Phoebe Cates gives her monologue about her dad dying in their chimney.
