There are very few comedies on TV that are actually funny. Hell, a lot of the alleged "classics" were just as bad as some of the awful garbage we've seen in recent years like Friends or Will & Grace.

Arrested Development
Strangers with Candy
Seinfeld
Sanford & Son
The Office (UK edition, though the American one is funny)
The Benny Hill Show
Chapelle's Show
The Simpsons Part II...er, I mean Family Guy

What, I thought "Everybody Loves Raymond" was American's most popular sitcom the last 5 years? You mean it doesn't rank up there with the all-time greats?? :dead:

I watch Earl, The Office, Scrubs, King of Queens, and I'm a big Monk fan, though I guess that's more of a quirky detective show than sitcom...


And NightmaresDad, Arrested Development is already on DVD! And it's even better watching it back-to-back and without commercials... :biggrin:

This show is a riot. The kamakazi episode was probably one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

Cheers- Gary's old town tavern episodes. Also can't forget Kevin Mchale trying to count the bolts in the floor at the garden

Night Court- Alaska episode "its nice to meet you DanDan Feilding"
