Galloway is the fastest I've ever seen

That 4.19 is bullshit. Worldclass sprinters that run a sub-10 100m don't run a 4.19 40 yarder.
Don't know what you're trying to say here, but if you are saying JG didn't run a 4.19 then I'll have to disagree. I ran right before he did and waited for him to run. When he crossed the line scouts looked down at their watches in amazement. I saw the range from 4.17-4.2 on a few scouts/coaches watches. JG didn't even run his second 40 after that! Why would he? I'm curious as to what Ginn runs the 40 in. I'll take Ginn in the 100 over JG but not the 40. Chris Sanders would outrun JG in the 100 but not the 40...the debate here is like comparing apples and oranges. Someone also posted the difference b/t hand times and electronic times. Most of the times you see reported are hand timed unless noted.

Whats the deal with all the speed? ND has a freshman (Terrell Lambert)that was timed faster than Ginn but doubt that he is anywhere near the playmaker than Ginn is! If he was he would have seen playing time this year. Ginn seems to me as much of a game breaker Bush is

I have always been a huge JG fan. If I understand it correctly he is widely considered the fastest man in the NFL.

In the 40-JG

In the 100-Ginn

Also I am surprised no one has mentioned Glenn. That pass he caught against ND where he out ran their fastest player for a long TD pass, he is not far behind those 2.

Where do I start with this? How about spelling your own man's name right. It's Terrail Lambert. Please tell us when and where he was clocked faster than Ginn. I have seen where it says that he has been clocked at 10.5 in the 100m, but so has Ginn. Ginn was the National Champion in the 110m high hurdles. Pretty sure Notre Dame would have mentioned any National achievements in Lambert's bio if he had any.
Following is from Notre Dame website regarding Lambert:

St. Bonaventure School in Ventura, Calif. ... rated 85th on ESPN.com list of the nation's top 100 players ... also 140th on collegefootballnews.com list of the nation's top 150 prospects (eighth among cornerbacks) ... rated 28th on the Rivals.com Super West 60 team ... a second-team pick as defensive back on California all-state team selected by Cal-Hi Sports ... was a first-team selection as defensive back on Los Angeles Times all-star team ... played five positions in high school - tailback, defensive end, linebacker, safety and cornerback ... made 87 tackles, three sacks and had one interception (returned 92 yards for a touchdown) as a senior in 2003 ... also carried the ball 13 times for 133 yards and two touchdowns and had one receiving touchdown ... made 66 tackles, 11 sacks as a junior in 2002, to go with 12 rushing attempts for 245 yards and two touchdowns ... also a track athlete who competed in the sprints, relays and high jump ... has been clocked at 10.5 in the 100 meters ... cousin of former St. Bonaventure School and current Florida State running back Lorenzo Booker ... former prep teammate of current Irish offensive lineman James Bonelli ... full name is Terrail (pronounced tuh-RELL) Lamar Lambert ... oldest of three children of Keetran Lambert ... born Dec. 1, 1985, in Los Angeles, Calif. ... enrolled in First Year of Studies.

Now Ginn Jr.:

The latest in a recent line of outstanding student-athletes from Glenville who have decided to wear scarlet and gray ... perhaps the most sought after defensive back prospect in the nation last year ... is expected to vie immediately for playing time, either at cornerback or with the special teams ... has great cover skills and outstanding speed ... played for his father, Ted Ginn Sr., in high school and is well schooled in every aspect of the game ... was selected as the USA Today Defensive Player of the Year ... also a 2004 Parade All-American ... SuperPrep named him as their 2004 National Defensive Player of the Year ... Prep Football Report rated him as the third best overall prospect in the nation and the top defensive prospect ... Rivals.com rated him as the top overall prospect in Ohio and the second best player in the country ...was named the Most Valuable Player of the U.S. Army All-America game ... also played quarterback, wide receiver and running back for Glenville and returned punts and kickoffs ... as a senior, picked off eight passes and returned five of them for touchdowns ... one of his interception returns went for a state-record 102-yard touchdown, while another went for a 97-yard score ... also passed for 932 yards and 12 touchdowns and rushed for 845 yards and 17 touchdowns ... named one of Ohio's three 2003 Division I Offensive Players of the Year ... returned four punts and one kickoff for touchdowns ... the national champion in the 110 high hurdles as a junior and the best time in the nation as a senior when he won the state title for the second consecutive year ... has been timed at 10.5 seconds in the 100 meter dash.

Terrail Lambert earned his hype at the All American combine where he was declared the best overall athlete. The same AA game where Touchdown Teddy was the game MVP. ND got a good pickup in Lambert no doubt, but nowhere was it said that he was faster than Ginn.

These are the All-American Bowl combine results. Lambert beat Ginn in the 10 yd dash (manual only, Ginn got him using F.A.T.) and the Pro Agility Run. Lambert is a very good athlete, but I think that these results show that Ginn is the faster of the two.
