LOL I sat Doug Martin in my PPR league (doesn't really matter, I'm gonna win anyways). Tallied 64 points. Also sat Carson Palmer (of course) in leiu of Matt Ryan who had 33 points.

If I played those two guys I'd be at 172 points with Jimmy Graham still to play tomorrow. Previous record in our league was 156. My margin of victory would have been over 100 points before Jimmy Graham took the field.

Oh well, I'll just settle for my 30+ point margin as I move to 7-1-1 in my league.

Oh I had a guy reject a trade this week where I sent Doug Martin and Mike Williams for Calvin Johnson and a throw in RB. He flat our rejected it with no counter. He lost today whereas if he took the trade he would've been +55 points over his current players and would be at 4-5 and still in the playoff hunt instead of 3-6 and likely a done season. I'm stacked at RB, but need 1 stud receiver.

Similar to my question.

Dallas D vs Philly @ Philly
San Diego D vs Tampa @ TB
or

Philly's D vs Dallas.

Romo has been prone to some huge mistakes. What did they have.. 3 turnovers in the 1st quarter last week? I know the Eagles don't have Tuck, Osi or JPP, but its a thought.

I'm also trying to shop Bowe. He's just not worth the risk anymore, even with Cassel. Defenses roll coverage his way and they don't have anyone else that can capitalize.

I'd go with Dallas vs Vick for both. Dallas has a pretty good run defense and good DLs, Philly has 4 replacement OL that made New Orleans DL look like the 86 (or 2012) Chicago Bears.

Vick is a turnover machine and while they should be an awesome offense, Mike Reid has proven to be an idiot this year. They refuse to use their best asset, McCoy to their best ability and he keeps on running vick from under center with that godawful line.

I'm tempted to dump detroit's D (vs Minnesota who will likely be without Harvin) for Dallas this week. And I love Detroit's matchup this week. Minnie can't throw it even with Harvin.

Tampa's offense is very solid with Martin blowing up and Jackson and Williams on the edges. Also with San Diego's turnover problems they could give Tampa the ball in the redzone more than once.

I like the jets matchup with Wilson, but you don't know which Wilson will show up... Also their run D isn't good and Lynch is a monster.

People in my league are borderline retarded. I'm trying to trade LeSean McCoy (for reasons stated above) with Mike Williams for Erick Decker and a gimped MJD. (trying to get an elite receiver - ppr - for the back half the year, I don't need a great RB as I have 2 others). He rejected it and countered with Jimmy Graham and LeSean for Decker and MJD. In what universe would anyone ever accept this trade?

He has no other running backs and is one more loss from being out of this big money league. Yea, keep running Rashad Jennings out there and see what that gets ya.

I thought that trade was a lock to be accepted.

Moving on: help me here please, PPR

Pick 2:
Doug Martin vs SD
Matt Forte vs Houston
LeSean McCoy vs Dallas

Martin is pretty much a lock, but I'm having a real hard time b/w Forte and McCoy.

I want to say Forte because Chitown defense will keep it close
And I think they'll keep the ball out of cutlers hands late to
Minimize his turnovers.

Then again Philly could finally realize how they criminally
Under use Shady... Doubt it.

I'd go with Shady McCoy. Houston hasn't given up a rushing TD all season, although I think Buckeneye is exactly right that Chicago will want to minimize Cutler's mistakes by giving Forte the ball more. Dallas has given up 100+ yards on the ground the past two games while surrendering seven rushing TD's on the season. McCoy has 30 catches on the season to Forte's 20 & I think the pressure being piled on Andy Reid to utilize him more is becoming impossible to ignore. It's a real tough call & I think both are good plays, which you couldn't go wrong with either, but I like McCoy's chances at home to Dallas better. Texans D has been stellar all season besides the Green Bay game & I think Dallas will cough up a turnover or two in good position for McCoy to capitalize.

Edit: Just read that McCoy missed practice today due to being ill. Probably nothing big, but just thought you might want to keep it in mind.

I have a guy offering me Carson Palmer and Aaron Hernandez for Demarius Thomas

standard league. My other QB's are Rivers and Cutler. My other WR's are Andre Johnson, Calvin Johnson, Anquan Boldin, and Malcolm Floyd.

TE's currently are Pettigrew and Scott Chandler.

I'm thinking about countering with Palmer and Hernandez for Andre Johnson.

Thoughts?

Thomas is a solid WR. Any chance you can pick off a QB from the guy who has RG3 or Luck?

Carson has a decent schedule down the road and he chucks it 40-50 times a game, but also doesn't throw a lot of TDs.

I think you need a QB more than a TE.

Andre Johnson has an awesome schedule to end the season. Don't trade him for anything but elite. He's starting to catch some passes and could close out the year very strong.

Find the guy who has a good QB wasting away on the bench. That's the guy you need to deal with. Maybe he will also have a decent backup TE. Combo deal that guy with Demarius/Cutler or Rivers. Look for something like Luck/Myers for that deal.
