Fantasy Football Advice

Current starting lineup.....

QB- Brees
RB- Ware, McCoy
Flex- Emmanuel Sanders
WR- Evans, Michael Thomas
TE- Ladarius Green
D- Atlanta
K- McManus

IF Thomas is unable to go (hasn't practiced yet), I have the following options..... Crowell (flex), Britt, Hightower (flex), Gillislee (flex), Taylor Gabriel (Sanu likely out, Jones dealing with turf toe). Thoughts???

Also, start Atlanta's D @ the Rams or San Diego @ Carolina???

Into the playoffs in both my leagues.

8-5 in the yahoo
8-5 in the ESPN.

Just pulled off the yahoo W with possibly the shittiest outing from both myself and my opponent. If I win only scoring 80 points, you know it's a bad day all around.

ESPN I'm up 118-64 as I type. I've got Zeke, Taylor Gabriel and Bilal Powell going. He has Matty Ice, Devonta Freeman, Jordy Nelson, Doug Baldwin, Hauschka and Seattle's D.
I didn't do the gentlemanly thing and ask why his #1 WR is going against his defense. I've been plagued with injuries all year so a little self sabotage goes a long way.

Tom Brady at Denver and their toughest fantasy D against QBs, or Tyrod Taylor home against the Browns and their friendliest fantasy QB defense. On the surface it's Brady of course, but he doesn't have a history of lighting it up at Denver and no Gronk. Taylor can also run and it's the Browns.

Decisions, decisions...

Tyrod Taylor is awful, IF he wasn't facing the Browns. This week, he's Atlanta Michael fucking Vick.

@Jake, what he says below should be true, but...

Look at this past weekend for a warning:

McCoy ran wild vs LA, so the bills only needed 124 passing yds from Taylor. Taylor happened to get 2 TDs to avoid a very weak performance.

AJ Dalton was the same against Cleveland, albeit in a blizzard.

Is Taylor even going to play? I read somewhere that they were going to start the Cardale experiment for the last 3 games.
Will Buffalo Bills bench Tyrod Taylor for Cardale Jones? Rex Ryan says 'We'll see'
"We'll see," Ryan said.

Why has Taylor's status as the starter changed to a "we'll see" situation?

"I don't have any idea, guys," Ryan said. "I just got done putting everything I have into a game we just got beat. And we'll put everything we have moving forward, but to answer questions about anything else, rumors or anything else, I think is ridiculous."

Questions about the future of the team are hardly ridiculous. Given the Bills being all but eliminated from playoff contention with the Steelers loss, it's fair to wonder whether the Bills will see what they have at quarterback.

"I'll do whatever I think is best for the team," Ryan said.

At this point, it's fair to wonder whether what is best for the team is seeing what it has in Jones. Of course, Ryan is also left wondering about his own job security after he dropped below .500 this season and for his career with the Bills. Maybe he won't be the one making the call on Taylor's future.

Absolutely. And I try to refrain from telling people who to play in their fantasy playoff matchups with money usually on the line. I DO believe that you start your studs that got you there (slightly more than "start any and everybody vs the Browns.) If you played Tyrod Taylor and Tom Brady goes all Tom Brady, you'd be kicking your own ass for 9 months. If you play Brady and Taylor has a better game, meh, sometimes that shit just happens but you put your best team out there and sometimes it isn't good enough. I just played Drew Brees. In hindsight, I could have played ANY other QB and gotten a comparable performance or better.

I just needed to get my dig in on the Browns because, being a Browns fan, it's all I've got.

Sounds like fans want Cardale, and the brass could push for it, but the beat reporters and insiders seem to suggest that Cardale is still far away from starting. Of course, this league features unready QBs all of the time, so...

Yeah I'm in that spot now, with Dak pressing against tough defenses 2 weeks in a row (and a third upcoming from Tampa). AJ should be a better play, but it's tough to switch to my waiver wire after so much greatness from Dak. The difference is he's a rookie, not Tom freaking Brady.

Agreed.
