Fantasy Football Advice

I would pick up Pierre Thomas. If Ingram comes out of the gate slow, it wouldn't surprise me to see Thomas get a lot of carries going forward. But of course it hinges on Ingram not being "the man."

I'd pick up Redman as he's going to start for Pitt for a few weeks. Pitt dropped Dwyer which means Redman will take a majority of the carries. Start him at flex. Drop rivers. If your Qb gets hurt then play whomever has the best matchup on the wire. Lacy will be a pretty good rb, but id have a hard time starting him vs sf.

Pierre may be a good guy to get and hold onto in. Case something happens to sproles or Ingram.

Just had a draft in the most effed up league ever. 16 TEAMS!!!! That's ridiculous. That being said, I think I did alright

QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, FLEX, TE, K, DEF, D Player

QB: Stafford, Pryor

RB: Spiller, Bernard, Powell, Denard

WR: Fitzgerald, Amendola, Stevie Johnson, Greg Little, Jason Avant

TE: Jermichael Finley

DEF: New England

D player: Tandy Kieth

K: Nugent

My runningbacks are pretty awful, unless Bernard can unseat Green-Ellis. WR's are pretty solid. Stafford is good, Pryor should be a serviceable backup for a spot start.

who knows

so, do I roll with RGIII vs Philly this week, or go with Matt Ryan vs New Orleans? Seems like both are safe bets. Just trying to maximize my points
Matt Ryan is safer. Rg3 has had no camp, no preseason - he could be turnover prone and sloppy in this one. Matt Ryan vs NO is gold.

I'm surprised you get to chose b/w them lol. 8 team league?

I am playing fantasy football for the first time in 10 years. I need help. Standard scoring 12 team league with guys from work. I need bragging rights.

QB: Manning
RB: Peterson
RB: DeAngello Williams
WR: Brandon Marshall
WR: Marques Colston
TE: Antonio Gates
K: Blair Walsh
DEF: Baltimore
Flex:

BN: Eddie Lacy
BN: Vick Ballard
BN: Chris Givens
BN: Steve Smith
BN: Steve Johnson
BN: Phillip Rivers

Question 1. Who do I start in my flex? I don't have favorable team matchups with Steve Smith going against Seattle and Eddie Lacy going against SF. I am leaning Lacy.

Question2. Defenses like Pittsburgh and San Diego are still available in my league. Should I consider swapping out baltimore?

Question 3. I am not happy with my RBs but there isn't anything left on the wire. Pierre Thomas, Redmon and Shonn Green and the top 3 left. Any thoughts on how I can improve this situation would be awesome.

Any other advise/comments on my roster and week 1 situation are welcome.

So i dropped Phillip Rivers and picked up Issac Redmon. I am still debating on the flex spot. Ballard appears to be the starter in Indy against the Raiders this week with Bradshaw banged up. Redmon vs Tenn and Lacy vs SF will also start.

3 years ago - I had the horror of watching Vick dismantle the Redskins. My opponent was starting him.

Last night, Peyton had a historic fantasy run. I'm down over 50 points. From one player alone

I've done something to displease the fantasy gods. I don't know - I need to find out and correct it.

Report: Surgery for Shane Vereen - ESPN
New England Patriots running back Shane Vereen needs surgery to repair a small broken bone in his wrist and will miss a few weeks, Fox Sports reported Monday.
Vereen suffered the injury early in Sunday's season-opening victory over the Buffalo Bills, according to the report, but played the entire game. Vereen did not practice Monday, according to the team's practice report.

Definitely impacts the Ridley & Vereen owners after the latter's career day & the former's miserable day.

probably a lot of pissed off Ridley owners who dropped him to pick up Vereen right after the game.........LOL
Only the insane would drop Ridley, even after his disastrous game and subsequent benching.
