Fantasy Football Advice

I'd take that trade in a second. Nicks is good but a huge injury risk. Eli will have up and down weeks you gotta diversify your wrs and in my book colston is better than nicks anyways. He'll get his catches and is a big td target for Brees.

I don't know, Brees spreads the ball around a lot, and the Giants have a brutal schedule, which means they will be throwing the ball all year because they will be behind all year and they can't run the ball for shit anyway. They have Brandon Jacobs (again) for Chrissakes, their backfield resembles the Browns. I don't think it's a bad trade, but I don't think it's a slam dunk either.

I Think the kicker here is he has both giants wrs. I personally wouldn't want the risk of what happens if Eli has a bad game (and he's prone to having bad games). Its a gauranteed loss if eli has a bad game.
Bree's does spread the ball around, but colston is number 1 or 2 usually in targets, especially in the red zone. Tampa bay has an underrated defense, colston will be ok and will be a top 10-15 receiver this year.

Yeah, i'd do the trade... I agree with Bucklion its not a slam dunk, but its not like your handcuffing your running back.

On a side note I just curb stomped my opponent this week... even with Roddy white only getting me 3 points and D Moore from Oakland with a giant doughnut... 152-100, this is also with Phillip fucking Rivers going bonkers for the 2nd straight week with another 40pt performance on my bench

It's definitely not a bade trade. I would estimate that over the course of the season, the numbers will be similar if both guys play all year. Now the thing you have to ask yourself is what DA posted above, how often are you going to be playing him, and which guy do you think gives you more consistency or bigger potential for big games, depending on that answer. I don't think Colston will ever (or very rarely) have those 14 catch, 179 yard, 2 TD type games. I think it's possible for Nicks to, but I think he could also have 5 catch, 37 yard games. So it depends on the role you need there. But yeah, I like them both.

Thoughts on this trade:

Team 1 gets Trent Richardson & Julian Edelman
Team 2 gets Demaryius Thomas
Team 1 wins by a landslide. Even if team 2 is completely desperate for a wr. Richardson will improve now that Gordon is back. If weeden plays this week teams can no longer stack the box and disrespect the verticals game. Edelman will be effective for a good while, even after gronkowski and amendola get back. He's the only current receiver Brady trusts.

One more thing on that trade, if you have Richardson, hold onto him for a week or two longer and he'll have some bigger games. Then you can trade him when his stock is up and not at the bottom.

Color me the skeptical one. I'm currently Checking interest in trading him too.

I just don't think Gordon is going to fix what ails this offensive line.

Even without 8 in the box - they still have problems with 1-1 blocking.
