F Anthony Lee (Yeni Mamak - Turkey)

Huge get. Anthony is going to play a lot in this offense. Love thinking of him on the floor at the same time as Sam Thompson, in particular.

We had some trouble rebounding last year. With Anthony, we get the best rebounder in the AAC at 9 per game. That kind of proven help is going to be huge for this team next year.

Looks like Thad still has the magic:

“The other schools I was looking at, they are all top programs that want to win championships, but it really came down to the coach for me," Lee said. "It wasn't really about facilities or the campus, it was about how the coach was going to get me to the next level and help me become the best player I can be in a year."

LEE WANTS CHAMPIONSHIPS AT OSU
It’s no secret the Ohio State men’s basketball team has been searching for a consistent inside presence since Jared Sullinger left for the NBA after two seasons in Columbus.

Anthony Lee.

Ohio State has started to develop options among the big men – senior Trey McDonald has stepped up this offseason, per head coach Thad Matta; senior Amir Williams shot nearly 60 percent last year, even if his hands continued to frustrate; and freshman David Bell will add depth – but the one player who could change things in a big way this year for the Buckeyes is Lee.

11Warriors: Anthony Lee interview and article

"When I did come here — I only took one visit — I fell in love with the place even though I wasn’t here for the spring game, and I didn’t get to see any of the excitement until this fall, as far as the football games and stuff like that," Lee said last week at Ohio State's Media Day. "But when I saw it, I really knew the type of person (Coach Thad Matta) was and the other coaches, I just knew this was the place to be.”
