Extraordinarily tough Buckeye trivia question

What do you mean?

That would qualify as useful information. Of that, I have little.

Or as your wife says, a Mountain of uselessness.

5 hours, and yet no comeback from BK mentioning a molehill?

She provides the mountains and the molehill. I provide the mole.

I found a pretty cool fact today, and decided to make it into a trivia question. And I didn't feel like starting a new thread... so... here you go...

We all know that since 1993, Ohio State has the best record in Big Ten conference games in football. And I think if it was as simple as "who are #2 and #3" and so on, we'd all be pretty close. But let's say you could switch wins and losses for a team over that period. For instance, say you did this for the 1985 Chicago Bears, their 15-1 record would be 1-15. But you can't do that for individual seasons, in this case. It's all or nothing. Obviously, a team that went maybe 100-20 wouldn't switch their wins and losses, but a team that went 20-100 would.

Try to guess the top 5-6 teams in order.

Thanks Mike, still get goose-bumps when I hear the first part of Le Regiment. The last 1:48 sounds like the circus is in town. At least tOSU band director had the good sense to cut it off at the appropriate time.

That's my opinion and I'm stickin' to it.

I didn't mean that just we just look at the "reverse" records - that's just listing the worst-to-best records in that time period.

I meant reversing the records only for teams that it would help.
Really, I just thought it was cool to see how close Ohio State was to Indiana.
Ohio State .778 124-35-1
Indiana .775 124-36 (actually 36-124)
Nebraska .750 12-4
Minnesota .688 110-50 (actually 50-110)
Michigan .681 109-51
Illinois .678 108-51-1 (actually 51-108-1)

Meh - I guess it's weird what I find cool.

I know you're just counting Big Ten records over the last 20 years (which is why Nebraska should be excluded from that - we've only been around two years) but in case anyone was interested, we've gone 120-46 over that span in conference play. 17 of those losses - more than 1/3 - came during the Callahan Era.

Yes - just records in Big Ten conference games. That's why you see Nebraska with a 12-4 record (it excludes conference championship games.
